Healthy Snack: Roasted Greek Chickpeas

February 6, 2013

This is a snack idea I found on Pinterest.  They are great as a snack alternative to chips or crackers.  I also put them on a salad, and they were a great addition!

2 cans chickpeas (Garbanzo beans)

3/4 tsp sea salt

1 tsp Greek seasoning

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp dried dill

dash cayenne pepper

2 Tbsp olive oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Drain and rinse chickpeas.  Pat dry.

Mix all of the chickpeas, seasoning, and olive oil.

Spread on a lightly greased (with cooking spray) cookie sheet or baking pan.

Roast for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.  Let cool and enjoy!
