Not trying to rub it in, but today is the start of our vacation!!! Woohoo! We’re heading on a tropical getaway with our friends and business partners. I’m going to try and post some of our trip on Instagram! Can’t wait to relax and unwind!

ONE: Todd and I have just gotten hooked on Chef’s Table on Netflix. Each episode is a little less than an hour, and a documentary on one of the chefs of the top 50 restaurants in the world. The show is so well-done and, as a food person, very inspiring.
TWO: We had our house painted this week! Well most of it. When Todd and I bought the house we agreed that one of the first projects would be to paint the interior. Here are some before and after pictures. I plan to do a full post on this with color details.

THREE: This past Sunday we spent time with my family to celebrate my dad’s birthday. My brother came home and we were all spoiled by an afternoon at my parents’ neighbors’ pool.
FOUR: I posted my outfit plans for our trip yesterday. Thank goodness summer clothes don’t take up much room! We’ve packed in a carry on and one checked bag. Sadly proud of myself that Todd and I didn’t each need a checked bag. Ha!
FIVE: Sunday is Father’s Day and we aren’t really going to be around to celebrate, unfortunately. I hate we won’t be here to shower our dads and for me to shower Todd with all the love and appreciation they each deserve. I wanted to publicly express how grateful I am to my husband for being an incredible dad. He is involved in all areas of raising Davis. He gladly plays with him, makes up games with him, teaches him new things, makes him crack up laughing, changes diapers, almost always does bath time, disciplines when needed, fixes meals, etc etc etc. We are a team and I would not be able to parent well without him. He is my rock and Davis’ best friend. #imarriedup 🙂 I can’t wait to grow our family with him!
