Life Lately + Online Black Friday Deals

More than usual, I feel like life is winning the race these days.  And I am lagging behind (plus having a cold or sinus infection or whatever this is really doesn’t help).  But you know what?  I am so grateful for this sometimes crazy life.  The Lord, my boys, my family, my friends are all amazing and I am truly thankful!

Now I will do my best to quickly catch up and show you some great online Black Friday deals! (The shopping part is at the bottom of the post)

First, check out this gorgeous floral arrangement that my mom made for a wedding last weekend!!!  Amazing, right?

Last weekend Todd and I went on a date to Wolfgang Puck Pizza, and it once again did not disappoint!  My favorite is the mushroom pizza on gluten free crust.  After pizza we decided to stay up much later than normal and see Hunger Games!  It was the first movie I had been to since before Davis was born! #oldlady

Then last Sunday we had big plans that sort of fell short.  (That’s how memories are made, right?!)  We traveled to Boone with my parents and brother to cut down a Christmas tree, and to supposedly take our Christmas card pictures.  Well, it was FREEZING in Boone, so we hurriedly picked out trees.  And you can see that those pictures were not a complete success.  (Davis was so so cold – I don’t blame him for crying).

We did come home and take a few, so hopefully we can use a couple of them. This one won’t make the cut, but I think it’s hilarious. 🙂 

On Monday I needed an outfit that could work to go out in public, but that didn’t take much effort.  And clearly I did not take the time to wash or fix my hair, either. My go-to is my Honor Roll Designs sweatshirt!  Right now they are only $20, and it is honestly the most comfortable item in my closet (which is the reason mine looks so worn).

Then last night we had a huge friend and family gathering at our house for an early Thanksgiving celebration. (See more on instagram)  I will blog about our Thanksgiving long weekend next week!

I wore this outfit for Thanksgiving Day.  I have seriously worn this top from Zara so.many.times.  I wanted to wear black for the Panthers (I know they were in all blue today), and it is such an easy go-to!  And these A.G. jeans are super comfy – a must for holidays!  I still love my Sole Society booties as well.
