It’s Friday, my favorite blogging day! I hope you enjoy my 5 things. Thanks again for hosting, April, Darci, Natasha, and Christina!
ONE: Our anniversary is Tuesday! We are celebrating 7 years of marriage, 10 years together total. I will love this man forever. He is my best friend and means everything to me. So thankful. And oh, how young we look in this picture. Back in the day when I didn’t need to use number THREE listed below.
TWO: These mini Key Lime Pies. Thanks to Natalie from Designer Bags and Dirty Diapers for posting this recipe! I made them for a taco night with friends, and for our church small group. They were a hit both times!
THREE: Bare Minerals Well-Rested concealer. Seriously, this make up works. I like to mix drugstore-priced make up with nicer make up. (This fits in the nice make up category for me 😉 ). I bought this from Ulta in the Spring, and I still have plenty. It is a lifesaver for moms who don’t get much sleep!! I apply it with this brush.
FOUR: We are going to a 2nd birthday party for some of our favorite friends’ little boy next weekend, and I am trying to decide on a great gift for him! While I don’t yet know what will be inside this box, I do know how I want to wrap his gift. Toddlers care about the details, right?! Ha! I know he loves to color, and I think this is so cute. I’m thinking craft paper + washi tape or twine + crayons.
FIVE: Our first-born, Kenan. Poor guy just doesn’t get enough attention around here, well besides from Davis. Anyone else’s babies absolutely obsessed with your dogs?! Even if I don’t show Kenan enough, I sure do appreciate him! In this picture he was keeping an eye out, because a lizard had just crawled through our living room and I freaked, of course. The lizard crawled back through the fireplace and Kenan did not move from that spot for a long time. My bodyguard! Goldens are the best.

Mini key lime pies?! I need those in my life! Ha! And what a cute and clever way to wrap a gift for a toddler — I’m going to have to pin that!
Happy weekend ahead!

Aww, poor pups! They’ll be really surprised when our babies get older and are hanging all over them. 🙂 Happy weekend to you!
