Happy Friday! I am trying, without much success, to not let my yearning for Fall take over my blog. A few of these hint at cooler temperatures, wardrobe shifts, and holidays, though. I just cannot help it. I need to be able to wear my ankle boots with jeans without sweating- ha! Please enjoy my Fall-ish Five!
ONE: Speaking of Fall, I jumped on the bandwagon. Even though it was over 90 degrees here this week, I had a Pumpkin Spice latte from Starbucks over the weekend, and bought these K-cups. Glad I jumped – delicious! It has helped me at least imagine cooler temperatures.
TWO: Shay from Mix and Match Mama posted this on her blog, and I need to buy it. I definitely want to incorporate a little camouflage into my Fall/Winter wardrobe, and this may be the perfect way to do that.
THREE: Paris-themed sweatshirts. The fact that sweatshirts are in style this season is amazing. I haven’t bought one yet, but I have been on the lookout, and I am drawn to any with a French slant. I love French food, wine, the language, my best friend lives there, and that combined with a comfy shirt is a win-win in my book. 1. 2. 3. 4.
FOUR: Davis is going to be a fox for Halloween. I get that this will most likely be an overdone costume choice this year. But we think he shall be the cutest fox around! I wanted to work on (i.e. have my mom sew) a homemade fox costume, but Carter’s has one for about $25, and I couldn’t pass it up. My mom made all of our Halloween costumes, and I have very fond memories of them. But hopefully Davis will understand! He will be adorable regardless!
FIVE: Seeing this beautiful print with Joshua 25:15, and being reminded that this should be my main focus for our home. We are about to begin a kitchen remodel, and I am so.flipping.excited!!! But, this verse made into art by julietgracedesign made me check myself. As much as I know I will LOVE having a beautiful kitchen, I need to have the right perspective overall: I want my home to be about love, grace, serving the Lord and others. Don’t worry, though, I will surely blog the before and after pictures!

How are the pumpkin spice k-cups? Can you actually taste the pumpkin spice? I love that fox costume, I just bought my daughter her Halloween costume too!

They’re great! More spice than pumpkin in my opinion, but I was impressed overall. I would recommend them. 🙂

I really need to start to mix in some more patterns to my wardrobe. That scarf would be perfect!

Isn’t it great? My wardrobe is generally pattern-free, besides stripes or dots. This would break it out of the box, but not too much!
