Here are my Five on Friday! Better late than never, right?! Thanks to April, Christina, Darci, and Natasha for hosting!
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
ONE: Davis the Fox! Last night we dressed up our first child (not counting Kenan, our dog) up for his first Halloween. He went trick or treating for the first time, and I had to show him off in his Halloween duds. The first picture is what he wore during the day, and the picture of him in his fox costume is below!
TWO: Since some of our best friends also have toddlers and babies, we all got together at our house for an early, like we were done partying by 8, Halloween party. The dads took the babies trick or treating in the wagons, while the moms stayed back and enjoyed relaxing in the driveway. We were in charge of handing out candy! I think we’ll definitely do this again next year! How CUTE are they?!

THREE: Completely switching gears here: I really want to try making some pomegranate salsa. I went to a class about breast cancer the other night. The main focus was prevention, and also slowing cancer cell growth down and reducing the risk of them metastasizing. The doctor spoke about how certain foods and nutrients can help with this, and he also spoke about certain foods and toxins to avoid. One food he mentioned that has very positive benefits, that I never eat, was pomegranates. I think I would love them in this form, and it would be a perfect holiday appetizer!
FOUR: If you need a holiday wreath, please check out my cousin’s blog. She has started making adorable custom wreaths like these, and is taking orders for Christmas! The first one is fabric pumpkins, and the second is just a cute striped one with flowers – it would be perfect for Spring or a baby shower!
FIVE: Happy 11 months, Davis!!! This just blows my mind. He is almost technically a toddler. I’m trying to keep my composure, but really I’m starting to freak out a little! I will add his 11 month post later, with lots of pictures from this month. Also, his party is 3 weeks away (we’re having it early). Am I ready for that? Nope. Back to the to-do list!
