Even though we had Davis’ birthday party (still need to post about that!) the week before, we wanted to celebrate him on his actual birthday. So on Sunday we Face Timed with his Kingdon grandparents, then his Link grandparents and Uncle Patrick came over for a pancake breakfast! After his nap we drove up to Mooresville to Lazy 5 Ranch. Oh my gosh, y’all. It was NUTS. I haven’t laughed that hard or been so freaked out or enjoyed myself that much in a while. Seriously, quite an experience! Here are some tons of pictures of the day! I’m laughing to myself looking through the pictures from the ranch!
Still can’t believe my baby boy is one!!
He loves this mini rocking chair from his great grandparents!
Laughing with Granddaddy
His Grammy made him initial pancakes
Pancakes were a no-go…until we added syrup.
Presents and basketballs everywhere (That material on the mantle is there so Davis won’t slip on the marble)
Love this winter camo hat my parents got him!
This guy was all up in our business.

This monster deer creature was crazy! He stole the whole food bucket right out of my hand. We were dying laughing and I had tears streaming down my face!
Davis thought it was hilarious. These llamas played chicken with us in the road so we’d stop and feed them.
Oh no! That reindeer just jumped up on our car then ran into the mirror!
I barely cracked the window open for this guy. Hello nostrils.
There were animals everywhere!
We kept the windows closed for the birds.
So close to the rhinoceros!
This zebra literally chewed on our window. He was beautiful, though.
At this point, Davis was done. Hence the paci! But then we walked around to the petting area and saw the cows, camel, and the birds and he was happy again.
On the way home. This picture. I can’t handle it.
We had a pretty amazing day celebrating our little boy. We are totally in love and it was a joy to have a day all about him!
