Thank goodness for Five on Friday for keeping me accountable to blogging. I have been slack lately! The goal is to be better next week! We’ve had a pretty good week – much more low-key than last, and I’m looking forward to a fun weekend and hopefully sunshine.
April, Darci, Christina, and Natasha – thank you for hosting! On to my 5:
ONE: You NEED to check out my friend Haleigh’s Etsy shop, The Woolberry Press. She also has a website. Beautiful, creative, and whimsical stationary, wedding invitation sets, favor bags, postcards, and prints are all included in her shop. She is constantly coming up with new designs, types of paper, and fun phrases. West Elm in Charlotte is hosting an Etsy pop up shop for some local vendors this Saturday from 1-6 and she is one of the featured designers!!! I’m so proud of her! If you can, stop by tomorrow to see her paper goods in person. Here are just a few of her designs. Gorgeous, right?!
TWO: My Grandmother turned 80 this week, and my mom, Davis and I went up for the day on Wednesday. Davis loved all the attention from his great-grandparents, and I know they’ve loved seeing family more this week. Sarah took her kids the day before, so they’ve seen all of their great-grandkids this week! It’s such a blessing that Davis gets to know them! (Wish I had a picture of my mom with Davis to add to this!)
THREE: Spin class. I’m addicted. If you’re a member of a YMCA or another gym that offers Cycle classes, please try it. They’re challenging, but it’s worth the sweat. You can burn up to 500 calories in less than an hour, and I always feel so great after! My goal is to take 2 cycle classes a week, along with 2 circuit training or strength classes. Here’s an article with more reasons to try it.
FOUR: This is a very helpful tutorial from The Everygirl about at-home mani-pedis. I didn’t have all of these products on hand, but I had enough to make it work, so I used these guidelines to pamper myself last night. Sometimes it’s just necessary to take some time to yourself, right ladies?!
FIVE: Planning to try this flower arranging tutorial for Spring. Maybe an Easter centerpiece? Todd bought me some great gold bowls similar to the one pictured from CB2 for Christmas, so this is meant to be!
Happy weekend, everyone! Thank you for reading!
