If you follow my cousin, Sarah’s blog, then you’ve already seen most of this. But, I still wanted to post about it, too! My grandmother turned 80 at the end of March, and even though she doesn’t like to be the center of attention, the family was determined to celebrate her! My mom and aunt Jane did a fabulous job arranging it, making the food, decorating, and arranging flowers.
We got to spend almost the whole day all together at my parents’ new house! Time with my family is just the best, and the weather was perfect. I’m pretty positive my grandmother felt loved and appreciated! My mom and aunt put together a beautiful book for Grandmother full of family pictures and notes (80 total) from each person in the family. We all told her things we love about her, our favorite memories with her, and why we’re so thankful for her. They incorporated all of that in the book!!
I really love my family! We were missing some people – wish they all could’ve been there!
Tons of pictures:
Davis would hardly eat his own lunch, but then tried to steal Bryleigh and Cam’s lunches.
All the guys sat out on the back deck watching and critiquing golfers. Granddaddy asked me to find them all binoculars. Haha!
Finally, an updated picture of Sarah and I
