Whew, what a week! Our little man is fully embracing the toddler stage and is NONSTOP. He wakes up around 5:45 am, runs and goes and plays and makes messes until his nap, then runs and goes and throws food and talks and plays again until bed time. Good thing he’s super cute. 😉 😉 I’m sure all of the other moms know the feeling!
He also got his first real injury this week (more details below). So, not that this weekend is going to be very relaxing, but still, it’s the weekend!! And it’s a holiday!
I’m looking forward to lots of time with family and time at church. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!! As always, thank you to April, Christina, Darci, and Natasha for hosting.
ONE: You’re invited!! We’d love to have you at Elevation Church this weekend. We have worship experiences throughout the Charlotte area starting tonight. Here is the website with more info. You can also watch them live online here.
TWO: I’m doing a lot of cooking this weekend. Here’s one of the treats I’m making! This is one treat I’m planning to make for a kids party at church. You can download the tags here and find the recipe for the “Bunny Bait” here.
THREE: Wednesday night I was just feeling d-o-n-e. Partly because of Davis’ injury that day, like I mentioned above. Here’s what happened…. I was about 6 feet away from him in the kitchen, but couldn’t catch him in time. He heard something, took off running and slipped. His face hit the corner of the refrigerator – hard. Lots of blood and tears, and it takes a real injury for him to cry. I thought he had broken his nose (thank goodness he didn’t!) It broke my heart. So this was my dinner that night around 9:30. No energy to cook something healthy. Classy, huh?
FOUR: Baby bunnies and turkeys and chicks! Yesterday we went to some local hardware stores with Sarah and her kids. One store had baby bunnies and turkeys and the other had little chicks. It was just another fun way to get into the Spring spirit. I think Sarah and I enjoyed seeing the babies as much as our kids!
FIVE: He is risen! Hallelujah! Isn’t this print gorgeous? Find it at dear lillie.
Happy Easter to you and your loved ones!

Stopping by from the link up. I am so so sorry about your son’s injury! Poor little one! I hate when they get hurt. It is so scary and then are so sad 🙁 Hope he lasts the weekend with no more injuries. He sounds like my son! Have a Happy Easter!
