Today I feel refreshed and encouraged. Having a weekend to reflect on God’s grace and to spend time with family was just what I needed! Our worship experience at Elevation was absolutely incredible, and once again I felt so proud of our church. Seeing people accept Christ as their Savior never ever gets old! You can view the sermon here.
Todd’s family stayed with us Saturday night, and we all went to church with my parents and brother. Then on Sunday I cooked for church. I didn’t get pictures of us before church, mainly because it was pouring down rain. But isn’t this one of Davis and my dad cute? Matching in green. Also, here’s a few of the Easter treats I made: cinabunnies, hash brown “nests” with eggs, cheese, and bacon, and Bunny Bait.
We spent the rest of the day Sunday at my parent’s house with most of my side of the family, and Todd’s family. We were missing his dad and some of my cousins and aunt and uncle. We had lunch, hung out, and had an Easter egg hunt for the little ones! My mom made Davis a really cute Easter t-shirt – it was a truck carrying a carrot – perfect for a little boy!
I am always thankful for time with family! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday with your friends and families as well! Thank you for reading!
