Today I’m celebrating because of good news from the dentist! Sounds silly, but I am SO relieved! I chipped one of my molars the other night, then I thought I could see a crack in the tooth, and I just knew I’d need a root canal. Well, I had it checked yesterday and it was just a superficial thing – they polished it and I was good to go. I didn’t even have to pay anything after the appointment! I got home and told Todd that I could’ve kissed that dentist right on the mouth. Haha!!! I worked myself up for nothing, but good news is good news and I’ll take it. Bring on the weekend!
Thank you to April, Darci, Natasha, and Christina for hosting. Hope you enjoy my 5!
ONE: It’s almost Cinco de Mayo (one of Todd’s top favorite holidays) and I’ve been pinning some inspiration. We don’t have a party planned, but maybe I can cook and we can have a date night at home. Any excuse to mix up some margaritas! How fun is does this mini margarita flight look?
TWO: Have y’all seen this gymnast ab workout? My friend Neely pinned it, so Todd and I watched it and tried it (tried is the key word there). It’s intense, but a great, quick workout! And it’s set to Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls).” I have more workouts on my Just Do It board on Pinterest if you need some ideas!
THREE: A friend from church told me about this base coat. Orly bonder helps keep your nail polish on! Ever painted your nails and it all peels off? It happens to me all the time, but this product works.
FOUR: These flowers from Trader Joe’s and fun napkins from Marshall’s are fitting in nicely in my kitchen this week. All of these blooms were $6 total! Gotta love fresh flowers!
FIVE: A simple, but helpful article on how to make time for yourself. Sometimes we need these reminders.
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend! Thank you for reading!

Orly bonder? Never used that before–but anything to make my nail polish stick longer sounds like a good idea to me!
