First things first, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my cousin Caroline, and my nephew, Camden. And, I’m going to go ahead and wish my niece, Bryleigh, Happy Birthday wishes a couple days early, too!! We get to celebrate their birthdays, plus have a baby shower for my cousin, Lauren all this weekend! They are all so special to me!!
Technically Bryleigh and Cam are not my niece and nephew, but we consider them that. They call us Uncle Todd and Aunt Lindsay, and Davis will call their parents Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Sarah. I LOVE that they’re all growing up together!
Yesterday it was 90 degrees in Charlotte, so Davis and I spent the afternoon playing in the sprinkler! Todd’s mom put a little sprinkler from Target in Davis’ Easter basket, and it has been a hit! It’s the perfect amount of water pressure for my little guy.
Davis is just all boy. He is full of energy and has a mind of his own. He is dirty and scraped up most of the time, and it doesn’t phase him one bit! I had to post these pictures of him playing, because it is such a good representation of his personality. He is soaking wet, not even in a bathing suit (oops, Mom fail!), covered in sunscreen, grass and leaves, and having the best time.
I’m drinking another cup of coffee while Davis naps – need to somehow get enough energy to keep up with him all afternoon! Ha! Being a boy mom is such a crazy experience already. He certainly keeps me on my toes!! I’ve been praying that the Lord would use that energy and adventurous spirit for positive things as he grows up. Love all 3 of my boys. 🙂
