Friday mornings are one of my favorite times! I am a real big nerd when it comes to anticipating fun plans, and the weekends almost always have something fun planned! The “looking forward to it” part makes me more happy than it should, but it also adds a little pep in my step to Friday mornings. I hope you’re all feeling the same way right now!
Last night I had a mini girls night (I say mini because we just got Starbucks and walked around the mall for a little while. And we talked about pacis, preschool, etc…we can’t help ourselves!), but it was just what I needed! Love my girlfriends!! And later today we’re heading out of town to see Todd’s younger sister graduate from high school. We are so proud of you, Abbie! Tomorrow involves a lot of house and yard projects we’ve been putting off, and an art gallery visit to see a friend’s photography. Sunday means church and frozen yogurt to celebrate Davis’ 18 month birthday! See? So much to look forward to! It’s the little things, people. 😉
Thank you as always to the girls for hosting! (April, Darci, Natasha, Christina)
ONE: As I mentioned, Davis turns 18 MONTHS on Sunday! Can’t believe my baby will be 1 1/2. Surprisingly I haven’t cried yet, but I know it’s coming. I cried on both Bryleigh and Cam’s birthdays a couple weeks ago. Being a mom makes me much more emotional! I will post more about Davis’ “birthday” next week, with lots of pictures, but for now I had to share this one! Todd put him in the sink after his bath. Mr. Personality, no doubt!
TWO: I think this is such a cute, kid-friendly meal idea. It is a Pizzadilla – and the pieces can be dipped in marinara! I would probably use different ingredients, but I love the concept. Davis loves dipping regular quesadillas in salsa (gotta say that makes me proud), so I think he’d enjoy this as well.
THREE: Anyone tried this? It is a BB Cream for all over, not just your face. Do you follow Penny Pincher Fashion? She posted about it on Instagram and I am intrigued. First of all, she is gorgeous, so I’d think her beauty advice would be legit, plus she is a talented fashion blogger, but wasn’t paid to try the product. I’m curious and may have to buy it myself. Could be great for the Summer!
FOUR: I have a new addiction. Trader Joe’s Herb and Spices popcorn. Oh, the obsession! It is the first thing I wanted once we started eating grains again. I looked forward to it for a week! I recommend buying at least 2 bags next time you go grocery shopping!
FIVE: On a more serious note, this has popped in my head several times this week. To me it has been a powerful reminder to try and stay positive and to project that with others as well.
I hope you all have wonderful weekends! Thank you for stopping by!

I’ve never heard of Penny Pincher Fashion, but I’m following her on Instagram now! Also, that pizzadilla idea is BRILLIANT! Perfect for this pregnant girl. Haha 😉
Have a great weekend!

My little girl is 18 months on Monday, almost birthday twins! I’ve been more emotional about her being 1.5 than I was when she turned a year. She just seems so grown up now. sigh.
The pizzadilla looks yummy! Aria never took a fancy to queasadillas though, which is baffling because she loves cheese and all things bread. Kids are odd.

Those pizzadillas are such a great idea! Thanks for sharing that.
