Neely is a good friend and one of my college roommates. She is beautiful, witty, Southern, fashionable, smart, and I can’t wait to meet her baby boy! His initials are MAC, and they’ve chosen to call him that: Mac. I love it!
Allison, Margaret, and I (2 other college roommates and friends) hosted a baby shower for Neely in August at her parents’ home. Neely’s mom and dad are wonderful – Mac is going to be so spoiled and loved! Anyway, on to the shower details…. We planned around a pattern that Neely had mentioned she liked for her baby boy: madras. Allison, Margaret and I found an invitation from this Etsy shop, and took it from there! Allison found the fabric for the table runners, and we all worked on the flowers, food, and serving pieces. We also incorporated his initials on the wreath, invitation, and food table.
I loved being able to help host this for Neely, and I am so excited for she and Andrew to welcome Mac. Praying for an easy delivery and a strong, healthy baby boy. Love you, Neely!
