Only 2 months until Davis is two years old! Crazy town. He seems to be growing and learning quickly these days. And he makes us laugh all the time! Here’s a few updates about our little dude, and way too many super cute pictures. Because, I am ‘that’ mom. 😉
Davis is definitely talking more. He is starting to put words together and ask questions. “What’s dis?” is asked more times a day than I can count! For a while he said, “Hi, how you?” all the time! SO cute! He tries to pray…he’ll sometimes bow his head and whisper, then say “amen,” but he doesn’t quite understand it yet. 🙂 He doesn’t love to stop or be still, and he’s certainly all boy. Sometimes it feels like I’m living in the middle of a whirlwind!
Trucks, buses, airplanes, and tractors are his favorite things! I’m thinking he’ll probably have a school bus themed party. We have several schools right outside of our neighborhood and he LOVES watching the buses come and go.
A lot of this is similar to my last post about Davis: He likes to take walks, build towers, push and pull anything, vacuum, run, take things apart then put them back together, sort toys or anything he can find in our cabinets, stickers, books, pointing out body parts (nose, eyes, etc), playing outside, kicking a ball, chasing Kenan, playing with his friends and cousins, and so much more. He is really at a fun age!
He has been better about eating the last few days, but he is still somewhat picky. He does not love baths right now. We have pushed his bed time to later, and he has started to sleep a little later in the morning (praise the Lord because 5 am is no fun!). He does get a toddler attitude some times, but really he’s sweet most of the time!
There is so much more I could say about him, but I’ll move on to the pictures!
Happy 22 months to our handsome, fun-loving, spirited, precious baby boy!!!!
Moving Kenan’s food from his bowl to my sauté pan. Sanitary for sure. 😉
Ignore my crazy face. This picture of him is too good to leave out!
This is the only time he’s ever fallen asleep eating. I was out of town when this happened. Todd sent me pictures of him sleep-eating and I was cracking up! He only ever falls asleep in his crib, so this was so different to see!
They sat like this for half a second, then it was a little bit of shopping chaos.
