I’m not sure if I’ll be able to link up with April, Darci, Christina, and Natasha, but I still wanted to post my Five on Friday! Todd and I are enjoying a weekend away, and my family is home keeping Davis (thank you thank you Mom!). I’m planning to have posts all about our trip next week, but for now, here are my 5! Happy weekend!
ONE: Because we were leaving our little guy, and I was having major anxiety about it, I made myself feel better by buying him a few gifts. 😉 He can open these while we’re away. I know I’m nuts. He will have a blast! My parents spoil him a ton, and on top of that, my brother will be home this weekend, which I know he’ll love! But I thought having something to open each day we were gone would be extra special. Several of these things are from the $1 section at Target, and then the tractor is the “big ticket” item ($9).
TWO: I have made this baked spaghetti twice now. My brother-in-law is dog-sitting/house-sitting for us this weekend. He is in college, and you know college guys love a good home-cooked meal! I also made some for my family – I hope they all enjoy it! I highly recommend this Pinterest find!

Also, Davis helped me make it! He really did – whisked the eggs with the cheese and butter, and stirred in the noodles. I have the cutest sous chef ever!
THREE: I didn’t get a Fall fashion post up this week, unfortunately, but I have been thinking about travel outfits. These are some inspiration for a comfy, neutral, travel dress code.
FOUR: In the same traveling mindset, I have gotten some great tips and ideas from blogs about how to pack, what to wear, how to plan a trip. Here are two that I think are full of quality info!

FIVE: This quote. Talk about motivating! I saw this and sent it to my husband right away. Who knows how much we can accomplish in life? Whether it be with work success, working for the Lord, raising amazing kids, and so on. Love this.
