Another Halloween in the books! Davis was a lion this year, and I just could not get over how stinking cute he looked in his costume. I know every mom thinks this about their kids, but still.
My parents came by before we left to see Davis in his costume. They brought him some Halloween goodies, including homemade play-doh and a pumpkin cookie cutter.
For the second year in a row we celebrated with the Pooles and the Hursts, and had a blast! Ashley hosted this year – their neighborhood is huge so it’s great for trick-or-treating. We ate dinner (she made tacos), then the daddies took the kids trick-or-treating (the mamas went for a little while too). Most of the time Ashley, Sarah and I stayed at Ashley’s house to answer the door for trick-or-treaters. We were so excited for our own little costumed kiddos to come to the door!
We took a picture exactly like this on Halloween last year, so we had to try it again. This year they were a dinosaur, UNC cheerleader, lion, fairy, and another dinosaur! Getting pictures of kids like this is no simple task!
We ended the night with the kids in their PJs, and roasting marshmallows on the fire in their back yard. Our s’mores party was short-lived because of the rain, but it was fun while it lasted!
I hope you all are recovered from Halloween and also recover quickly from the time change! Happy November!

Your little man is so cute! I also love that y’all do Halloween with your friends. When I have kids, I hope we do that, too!
