Randoms + Life Lately

So…I am not a fashion or music or media expert, BUT, here are a few thoughts, favorites, and must-sees:

• Grammy’s.  Let’s see.  Taylor Swift killed it – gorgeous.  Why didn’t she win anything?  Oh that’s right, Sam Smith won. But he is crazy talented.  I did like his song with Mary J. Blige and I also thought Miranda Lambert was great.  Kanye – I do not understand him.  Kristen Wiig was in Sia’s performance?!  Todd and I were texting during (he was out of town) and I was all, “Todd! Isn’t that the girl from ‘Bridesmaids’?!” ‘Glory’ by John Legend and Common was so good.
• If you haven’t seen the Android Friends Furever commercial, you have got to watch it.  It will bring some major happy to your Monday.
• Do you all like Sugar by Maroon 5?  The video is awesome.
• Our church started a new series, Moodswingers.  Yesterday’s sermon was something I certainly needed to hear.  I’m planning to listen to it again.  It should be online later today.

Catching up on our life lately:

Heading to watch the SuperBowl with friends and family.  Davis was thrilled about the selfie, obviously.

I finally started eating chia seeds.  I have a smoothie every morning and now I always add chia seeds and probiotic. 

Third professional haircut for this handsome boy!  He does better each time he goes.

A couple weekends ago my parents came over so that my mom could help me with some furniture decisions.  Davis had to sit right beside my dad on the floor to eat his snack.  Buds! 

I co-hosted a baby sprinkle at my house for one of my best friends, Margaret, on Saturday.  The flowers and the weather had me counting down the days until Spring.  

Because the weather in Charlotte was so dreamy this weekend, we got outside a whole lot.  We walked, gave Kenan a bath outdoors, Todd worked in the yard with D’s ‘help’ ;), and my mom reserved a court for us to play tennis.  I am a complete spaz (is that a real word??) on the court, but we had a blast!
