Thank you to everyone who commented and gave feedback on my blog last Friday! The more I blog, the more I love this community. It’s amazing how much we can connect without ever meeting face to face. I had some issues with replying to comments, but I hope that if you left one on my blog, that you received my reply!
This is a true, hallelujah for Friday, day! My husband comes home late tonight after traveling all week, AND we are celebrating Sarah with a small baby sprinkle here tomorrow!

ONE: If any of you have toddlers (or kids a little older), I have a book to recommend! A friend from church suggested this in a mom’s group we were in together, and I’m so glad she did. The book Press Here is simple, interactive, and it works on colors, counting, and directions in a fun way. My son loves it! If you’re looking for a great source for mom and lifestyle ideas, check out Pam’s blog!
TWO: I have a new favorite condiment from Trader Joe’s….Pineapple Salsa. I bought it to serve with sweet potato and black bean enchiladas (recipe post coming this weekend), and I have since eaten the rest of the jar! It is sweet, but not too sweet – I am normally not a fan of canned fruit salsas – but this one gets my high-maintenance salsa approval. Check it out!
THREE: Don’t miss this! My church is having our second worship night at Time Warner Arena on July 31. Our incredibly talented worship team will be recording a live album! Last year was amazing, and I can pretty much guarantee this year will be even better.
FOUR: I Can’t Adult Today t-shirt. My gosh…amen to this. This week has been a doozy! I could list off a bunch of reasons why, but I’m just gonna leave it at T G I F.
FIVE: I’m not a Nordstrom card holder, but I do have a wish list from the sale (which is open to the public today). I will certainly not buy all of these things, but I can at least put them in my online cart, right?! Nordstrom sale wish list: Nikes, Spanx leggings (sold out, apparently – boo!), Zella workout capris, North Face jacket, bucket bag, pajamas, stripe cape, turquoise stud earrings, vest, clutch, Paige jeans UPDATE….I just placed an order (just a couple of these items), but I realized you can get 6% cash back through Ebates today! Just another reason to shop the sale. 😉
