Just some pictures and life from the past week or so… It was full of friends and celebrations!
First, we had Sarah’s sprinkle for baby Ezra (2 months or less until we meet him, can’t wait!) at our house on Saturday. More to come on that!
After the shower, I went to a couple consignment stores with some of the girls in our family. It started POURING rain, and we all got soaked! We piled in Sarah’s car to go from one store to the next and were cracking up! My aunt was sitting in Bryleigh’s car seat, and Lauren was on my lap – ha! We just rode like that across the parking lot. 😉
That evening was one of Davis’ friends 3rd birthday party at a park. He and the birthday girl were so cute together! She is a doll and we love her parents.
On Sunday we went to church and ended up sitting in a row with a bunch of our good friends. I was looking around at all of us worshipping and taking notes during the sermon, and thought how awesome it is to have friends who love the Lord.
Davis had fallen earlier in the week and he needed some Cars band-aids on all of his boo-boos. He was pretty proud of himself.
That night I made a dinner almost solely from vegetables from our CSA and my mom’s garden. In my opinion there’s nothing quite like a good Southern vegetable supper! Davis loved this meal as well! 
On Monday Davis and I headed out of town to visit my best friend, Casey. She is in NC for the summer. We had a great time watching the kids play and have dance parties. We could seriously talk for hours on end and not get tired of one another. Our boys’ birthdays are only a few days apart, so it’s great to see them play together.
We stopped at IKEA on the way home. This boy loved the cart!
I have a couple meal ideas and recipes I need to post. One is this: Warm Corn, Kale, and Tomato Salad with Shrimp and Feta.
