The baby sprinkle portion of this post is quite belated! Along with several other girls, I hosted a baby sprinkle for Sarah earlier this Summer. At the time she was expecting, and now her new son, Ezra Patrick, is here! He was born last week! I don’t want to steal her thunder, because I know she will want to post about his birthday, but I did include a couple of pictures of that sweet baby boy in Monday’s post.
I did still want to post about her sprinkle, so even though it is quite after-the-fact, here are the party details.
Bryleigh (her oldest) and Sarah. Didn’t she look beautiful in that Free People dress?!
LOVE these sweet girls: Bryleigh and Mary Elliott. (Our family has some adorable little ones, just saying ;)). And the flowers that Lauren picked and arranged are so lovely! Oh, and that is April’s cute daughter, Mills, peeking in from the background!
We had brunch food, mimosas (virgin and regular), and relatively simple decor.
I hosted it at my house, along with Sarah’s older sister, my cousin Lauren, and several of Sarah’s close friends, Brittany, April, another Lindsay, and another Lauren. 🙂
For the brunch, we took some of Sarah’s favorite things, plus foods she had been craving, and worked on making it a cohesive menu:
- Cheese Tray
- Donuts
- Pimento Cheese
- Green Salad with Blueberries, Mandarin Oranges, Feta, Candied Almonds
- Chicken Salad – 2 Kinds from MayoBird in Charlotte
- Mini Peach Crisps in Mason Jars
The leftover flowers, plus some hostess gifts (flowers and pitchers) from Sarah.
It was such a privilege to celebrate one of my best friends! She is a terrific mom, and I am thrilled for their family. Plus I am an ‘aunt’ again!!!
Thank you for reading!

Friends are the best. They make the good times better and the hard times not so bad.
Oh you’re so welcome, I love reading your blog!
