Fall Fashion: Peasant and Lace Blouses

October 19, 2015

I have several Paris posts in the works, but for now I’m just going to chat about clothes. 😉 Thank you for your patience!

I wore this off white peasant blouse from Forever 21 to church last weekend, and in the mountains, and now I’m kind of obsessed.  It is flowy, comfortable, and different.  If you know me, you know I wear off white/beige/cream far too often!  I am drawn to sweaters and blouses in that color scheme.  But, I wholeheartedly believe that every woman needs at least one great blouse in that color family!  Fall is a perfect time to wear blouses, and to layer them.  For a casual look, what could be better than a flowy, comfortable peasant blouse, or even one with a touch of lace?!

Another bonus to this style of blouse, is that it works with skinny jeans, or the on-trend flare jeans!  These work under jackets or vests, and also layered with scarves.  Here is a picture of how I wore mine this weekend, along with plenty of beautiful options from under $20 – around $100.  I paired mine with skinny dark jeans, tall suede boots, and my new favorite (inexpensive) bar cuff bracelet.

Excuse the wrinkles in my shirt…that morning was a mad rush at our house!  One of those finish-your-makeup-on-the-way-to-church days.

I’ve only had this one for a month, and I have already worn it multiple times. It is slightly longer in the back, which I love for a little extra coverage.

The 2 above are so adorable!  Both from boutiques, and they have so much fun character. lace off white short sleeve blouse

This one is amazing.  Would be perfect under an edgier leather jacket for a date night.

Could be casual or dressed up.  And under $20!lace peasant blouse

Hello, gorgeous!  All the heart eyes for this one.  How perfect would this be for a holiday party or Christmas/Thanksgiving dinner?!

This would also be great for the holidays!  And under $40. peasant blouse with lace

I am having to use major constraint not to buy all of these myself!

Your F21 peasant blouse looks fab on you! It looks so high quality for being a F21, affordable buy. Good work!

I so need to conquer my fear of online shopping! But I can’t stand not being able to touch things before I buy them… And let’s be honest, I don’t have the discipline to send it back if I only-kinda-like-it 🙂

Haha, Neely!! Try Asos first – free shipping both ways. So there’s really no harm done. Or Nordstrom! They are so great with returns. You can do it! 😉 I just can no longer shop with Davis, so time to go out and shop is very very limited. We took him with us to 2 stores last night and it was almost meltdown status – yikes!
