Five on Friday

I’m going to jump right into my 5 this week!

ONE: This hair tie bracelet is genius.  I love the concept!  I was hoping to purchase a few for Christmas stocking stuffers, but they are too pricey for that.  Still – love the idea and I would definitely put something like this to daily use.

TWO: The girl who does my eyebrows also does makeup, and she suggested that I try Smashbox CC cream.  It has great reviews, and I’m thinking of buying some.  I need a makeup update!  Does anyone else use this?

THREE: Last night I attended an art show for Emily, my elementary school best friend, then later college roommate.  She is an artist and is using her talents to raise money for their adoption!  If you have a minute, please check out her beautiful art work!  We had such a fun time catching up.  And I came home with a painting!  Now I just need to find a home for it in our house.

I am so proud of you, Emily! 

I was so tempted to buy this piece – it is even prettier in person! 

FOUR: Target is such a dangerous place!  I am all heart-eyes over these placemats, and I don’t even need any!  But I do need a rug for our son’s room, and that brown and ivory one could be perfect.  And the gold napkin rings and farm animal towels are so fun for Fall.
