Life Lately

December 10, 2015

Life lately has been a bit of a whirlwind.  But, really, when is it not like that?!

We had an awesome time celebrating Davis’ 3rd birthday last Tuesday.  Balloons on his door, and a banner and balloons downstairs, a candle-lit muffin breakfast, fun gifts to open, and dinner at Chick-fil-A (his pick) with Daddy, Grammy, and Uncle Seth.

On Thursday night we went to the Uptown Tree Lighting.  We got to meet the ACC mascots.  Our favorite, of course, was Rameses!  Go Heels!

His party was Friday evening, and I can’t wait to share more pictures and details! It was fire truck everything, and so much fun!

Then Grandma (Todd’s mom) kept Davis so that we could go to Virginia for Todd’s work party.  While we were away, Davis got sick, which made us feel terrible.  Good thing Grandma was here!  He is finally all better today – hallelujah!

We spent Sunday afternoon like this, watching the Panthers win.  I was so glad to be home to my boy.  Sick babies are the worst! IMG_4172IMG_4168

We are trying to get back on track.  The holidays are hectic, aren’t they?!  I’m grateful for an incredibly helpful husband, and that my boy was able to go back to school today!

I am off to a preschool Christmas party, and I am in charge of the craft! (Wish me luck ;))
