On New Year’s Day, we had an Honor Roll Designs photoshoot with our business partners and friends. We wanted to show some ideas of how to style our t-shirts. Graphic tees are everywhere now, and this post should show some examples of how many different ways they can be worn.
I know that I mention our Etsy t-shirt business often, but I’m excited about it and proud of it!
Todd’s sister, Abbie, is a part-time photographer and took all of the photos for us. (Here is her Facebook page with info!)
Honor Roll Designs was a concept we (Ryan and Todd, with a little help from Ashley and I) brainstormed over dinner a few years ago. It has now become a successful, creative small business! Their idea was to create t-shirts for people to express their fandom. Their designs are focused mainly on sports and also some pop culture (like the Star Wars and Friends shirts). Their shop has many more designs than those that are pictured below. We also carry some toddler and child-size shirts!
(Todd and Ryan) 1991 Chicago Bulls | Seinfeld
Queen City Hometown shirt, Charlotte Hornets colors
Star Wars (I love how Ashley styled this look!)
The Sandlot (A classic! We also carry this in toddler and some child sizes)
I Still Hate Laettner (Sorry, Duke fans)
March Madness rivalry perfection! 2009 UNC basketball | 1992 Duke basketball
Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose! Friday Night Lights
Queen City Charlotte Hornets | Queen City CAROLINA PANTHERS
If you don’t have anything to wear yet for this Sunday’s playoff game, try this one! I posted a picture of how I wore it in this post.
Aren’t my friends good looking?! We had a blast! Thank you, Abbie, and thank you Adele and Jeremy for letting us use your modeling skills for this shoot. 🙂

What a fun shoot. I love how you all styled the tees. I don’t think you over-do it with Etsy talk. I’m the same way. I like to mention it because I love all our stuff, yet I don’t want to harp on it too much. 🙂

I am from Melbourne, Australia and was on holidays down the beach at Ocean Grove and saw a young boy with your Star Wars t-shirt I was very tempted to approach him and say I know where you got that from. So you should all be proud your t-shirts are international news now great work. 😉
