I have zero complaints this Friday! We’ve been on vacation at our favorite place, Topsail Island. Our trip is coming to an end, but we have certainly loved our time here this week! Here are a few of my favorites from the week.

ONE: I posted this on instagram, but I wanted to share here as well. Sunscreen is a hot topic, especially this time of year. I have a favorite that was recommended to me a couple years ago. The estheticians at my dermatologist’s office all highly recommend Elta MD 45 SPF. The Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46 is especially known for acne-prone skin. This brand protects you from the sun, and it lacks the yucky carcinogens found in most sunscreens on the market. I wear it year-round under my makeup. In the past I have bought mine directly from my dermatologist’s office, but I was in a time crunch and found some elsewhere. thankyouverymuch Amazon Prime!
TWO: I can’t remember the last time I played putt putt, but we took Davis for the first time this week. He loved it, and my family had a great time as well! 3 1/2 is a really fun age!
THREE: As I’m sure you all have seen, Letterfolk signs seem to be everywhere lately. I love them, and want one ;), but I don’t have a great place to put one. I am helping plan some events that these could be perfect for!
FOUR: Beach reads. I have read a couple books so far on this trip: Love Does and Eight Hundred Grapes. I saw Eight Hundred Grapes on Everyday Reading’s instagram, and found it at our local library. I finished it in 2 days! It fits the bill for a fantastic vacation book. Love Does by Bob Goff is amazing, and I would highly recommend it. My brother and husband are planning to read it soon as well. Next on my list is Cooked by Michael Pollan…not sure why it’s taken me so long to read that one!
FIVE: I bought a diaper bag! I keep finding awesome backpack-style diaper bags from small companies, but they continue to sell out quickly. Someone on instagram that I follow posted about Fawn Design bags and I instantly liked them. They were sold out, but I got an email that they were opening orders again! They are backordered, but only until July. I picked the gray.

I have that suncreen and love it! I also use Cotz tinted sunscreen for my face. 🙂
