Fall Fashion (Maternity): Ankle Boots, Tunic Blouse and Utility Vest

As far as Fall Fashion goes, layers are key.  Living in the South, our Fall doesn’t feel like Fall until around Halloween.  Days start and end cool, but can be blazing in the afternoons.  I have been in love with incorporating this utility vest into my Fall fashion since last year, and I couldn’t resist layering it over this adorable maternity tunic blouse!  And as you all know, ankle boots are a key element to Fall outfits!  I bought a new pair this year, and I have enjoyed wearing them on some of our cooler days.

My tunic blouse has been in heavy rotation the past few months!  It is so nice to have a looser top that pairs well with skinny jeans, and is flattering.  I enjoy wearing tops like this even when I’m not pregnant, and I like the longer length coming out underneath the vest.

Let’s chat about ankle boots for a second.  Mine from the past few years have been worn to death, so I knew I needed a new pair.  If you follow fashion blogs, you know that there are plenty of high-end options out there.  BUT, you can also find plenty of affordable ankle boots, with some personality.  Look at all of these I found from Asos, including the ones I own, which were only $62!!!

If you are looking for maternity jeans, I highly recommend the Ridley style from Asos (I linked some below).  I wore mine when I was pregnant with Davis, my friends have borrowed them, and I’ve worn them again this pregnancy.  They are stretchy and comfortable – AND affordable.

You just cannot go wrong in purchasing a utility vest as a layering piece this season.  I wore mine over sweaters, t-shirts, and blouses last year.  I’ve linked a few options below.
