Thanksgiving 2016

November 28, 2016

Our Thanksgiving week this year looked much different than it has in the past!  2016 brought us countless blessings, and we certainly had reason to give thanks.  Our sweet second baby boy was born just over a month ago, so our hearts, and hands, are extra full this holiday season.

For Thanksgiving this year we traveled to see my grandparents and celebrate with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Then we enjoyed a second round of the traditional Thanksgiving lunch at my parents’ house the next day.  Todd’s family joined us that evening for turkey sandwiches and desserts.  On Friday we celebrated Davis’ 4th birthday a week early at our house with Todd’s family.

I was also able to see Casey, who was home on a surprise holiday trip!  You can read about how they flew from overseas and surprised her parents on her blog. 🙂 Our visits are always too short, because we could spend days chatting, but seeing her was the best addition to my week!

And I cannot leave out Gilmore Girls.  Did any of you binge watch the revival?! Over the weekend I watched the entire new season on Netflix…something enjoyable to do while nursing and pumping!  This morning Charlotte Agenda included our t-shirt in their “24 Best Gifts From Local Etsy Shops” list!
