Our hearts were so very full this Christmas season! 2016 had the unexpected blessing of our sweet Ridge, so we have much to be thankful for as this year comes to a close.
Leading up to Christmas, we had some great quality time at home, including wearing all the holiday pajamas and decorating Christmas sugar cookies!
We spent Christmas weekend at my parents’ house. My brother came home as well, so it was really nice to be together for a few days. On Christmas Eve my mom made Santa and Rudolph pancakes for Davis, then we went to my grandparents’ house to celebrate with them.
Christmas Day was full of fun this year! We stayed in our PJs most of the day, opened presents slowly, and ate a huge breakfast. Davis’ big gift from us was his first real bike! I wish this day could have lasted more than 24 hours. My mom was the ultimate hostess all weekend. I’m so thankful for my people!
Todd’s family came over the day after Christmas. We ordered pizza, played games, opened gifts, then had a nice dinner and fondue for dessert! It was a pretty wonderful day.
Now we’re counting down the days until next year! I hope you all had a happy holiday!
