Today I am straying a bit from my normal posts to tell you about a workout that I have been doing the last week at home. I put together this workout recently to get an effective full-body workout completed quickly and at home. I take 28 minutes to complete as much of this as my body can handle. This works your legs, butt, arms, back, core, and it gets your heart rate going! Plus you can do it all at home, without a gym membership. Pin it or screen shot this and try it out. Don’t forget to stretch at the end!
This exercise plan can be modified very easily! I made it according to what I knew I could do, but you could reduce the reps or reduce the weight. Do what you can, because every little bit counts!
During my pregnancy I only exercised a handful of times, and I am now attempting to get back in shape before summer. I still have 10+ pounds to lose, but I am trying not to focus too much on that. Especially because breastfeeding has me starving all the time! I am working on toning, though. Tank tops and shorts season will be here before we know it, and I honestly just want to feel good in my own skin! Plus I have 2 boys to care for, including a very energetic 4 year old, and I know I have a very active life ahead of me with them!
These pictures compare 1 month postpartum and last week, just past 3 months postpartum.
Keep in mind that I have on high-waisted pants in the above picture. 😉
Working out is something that I have always loved, but during this phase of my life I have had a hard time finding the time and energy for it. This workout is timed and efficient, so it checks the exercise box without spending hours in the gym. Just set your timer and go! My goal is to complete 15 workouts in the month of February. I will do this, BBG workouts, and run when timing and the weather cooperate.
I would love to hear if you’re going to try this workout!

You look great! It’s so important to nourish yourself and exercise while breastfeeding. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Candace. I agree – the healthier I eat, the better my milk supply is. And exercise has also helped boost my energy levels, which is so necessary as a mom.
