Sometimes I am a terrible blogger. I really need to use Like to Know It or something so that I can link things for you guys on instagram! I receive questions often about where something is from, or what book I’m reading, and I wanted to compile a list of some of those in a quick post today. So, here are a few of my favorite things that I have been loving lately!
A Few Favorite Things
I am kind of obsessed with sleeveless sweaters. If I find one I like, I immediately buy it, because something about them just makes me feel good. I feel confident and comfortable in them, and they can be dressed up or dressed down. I’m tempted to buy the other colors of this one! This runs slightly large. I’m wearing a small, but could have possibly gotten an XS.
Of all of the questions I’ve received on instagram lately, the most common have been about the devotional I am reading daily. I start my morning with this, and it has made a huge difference in my outlook for the day. I highly recommend this book.
I wore these the other night, with the sweater, and felt pulled together for once! These are very lightweight, and I love how neutral they are. For under $11, you can wear a trend without breaking the bank.
I posted the link to this recipe in my post about the Mother’s Day collaboration, but here is the direct link. I use goat’s milk yogurt and sheep’s milk feta – both found at Trader Joe’s. I throw everything in the blender, and it’s okay right away, but even better the next day, because it gets thicker as it sits in the refrigerator. SO delicious and fresh!
How fun is this with the bows? I saw the smocked top and loose, wide legs and was sold. For under $50, this is such a fun outfit.
You guys always ask me about this thing. I bought it to fit my Hydro Flask, but it also works for a coffee cup during car line! I love it.
Beyond the Pill book on Audible
This one is a little more serious, but I’ve been concerned with hormone balance lately, so I started listening to this book on Audible. (This would be better to have a hard copy version, so that you could highlight and refer back to it). It is extremely informative, and all things that your OB-GYN would probably never tell you. Especially if you suffer from PCOS, or have been on birth control for years, it is worth a read or a listen. I’m not going to dive too deep into the hormone discussion yet, but I am definitely trying to learn more. This seemed like a great place to start.
Shoes for Running & Shoes for Boot Camp
Every time I post a picture with my shoes in the background, I get questions. I wear workout and running shoes most days, so I am definitely opinionated. I needed some running shoes last year, and went to a local Omega Sports store to be fitted. With running shoes, you just have to find ones that fit your feet properly. For me and running, those were New Balance Fresh Foam 1080s. I would buy them again, and I may need to do so soon. I’ve had the same pair for about 15 months, and since I’ve started running again I may need a new pair.
For Burn Boot Camp workouts, I love my Brooks Ghost 11s. They’re great, and they look nice. I would buy those again as well.
I hope that post was helpful! Thanks for following along!
