I feel like these American flag macarons are a bit of an oxymoron. I took a classic French dessert and made them completely American! (This is in honor of you, Casey ;))
I made these July 4th themed French macarons for a cookout with friends tonight! The white macarons are vanilla salted caramel. The blue and the red are both blue-raspberry.
Now I’m feeling inspired to do the same for other holidays…pumpkin for Halloween, a Christmas tree, Easter bunny. Hopefully I won’t get too carried away!
