Hooray for 4 day weekends! Having Todd home and off work for 4 days in a row, with very few things on the calendar, was the best! Though we did get a lot of projects done around the house, we enjoyed family time, and a 4th party with friends. Also, Davis had his first real haircut!
Sarah and Jeremy hosted a small cookout on July 4th, and we had a fun, crazy time with friends and lots of kids!
Real life moment – trying to get a family picture, with Davis happy, is not an easy feat, folks. We have several other pictures of me making crazy faces, but I’ll leave those out so I don’t embarrass myself too much! I’m sure any of you with toddlers can relate to picture-taking drama! Better…apparently he just wanted his daddy to hold him!
Sarah was squirting them with a water gun and they thought it was hilarious!!
Sarah and Jeremy have this trampoline that Davis loved! He had such a good time bouncing with his buddies.
On Saturday Bryleigh and I made red, white with sprinkles, and blue pancakes! She was such a good helper in the kitchen!
I took advantage of Todd being home so that we could both take Davis to get his first haircut – you can see how long it was getting in the pictures above. He wouldn’t sit in the chair by himself, or put the cape on, but I held him and, in the end, he got a really cute new haircut! It makes me sad that he looks like such a little boy, but I really do love this age.
We have been considering giving both of our upstairs bathrooms a facelift, and this weekend we made progress! Here is a before pic of most of our master bath – I’ll show the rest of the pictures when the work is complete!
I hope you all had wonderful weekends with family and friends! Thank you for reading!
