F R I D A Y! I’ve really tried hard to conquer my to-do list so far this week, but I’m honestly worn out. I’m sure I am not alone!
This weekend we have time planned with family and we will be cheering on the Panthers on Sunday!
Happy weekend, all!
ONE: My mom’s birthday is on Monday! She is the greatest mom and Grammy and she is an inspiration and a best friend to me. I am so grateful for her!
TWO: You know those Forever 21 workout clothes I blogged about? I ordered some and I love them! They sell out quickly, so don’t delay in checking their site. Some of my items are actually already sold out, but I linked some similar looks below. I also mentioned a bathing suit from there on yesterday’s post – I cannot wait to wear it! (you know, after I exercise for another few months ;))
My uniform recently.
THREE: Have you all gotten the urge to organize? January/post-Christmas always does that to me. We have rearranged furniture, bought a couple storage solutions for the playroom, etc. One thing I’ve tried to do is organize our bathroom. Our sinks are in a custom-built antique table, which is pretty and unique, but offers very little storage. I found a glass container from Target, of course, and I have loved it for my makeup, brushes, bobby pins, etc. I also love those glass boxes from Pottery Barn for jewelry storage! I like to keep my everyday jewelry (earrings, wedding rings, “Davis” bracelet) out in a small dish on top of my dresser.
FOUR: Do you all read The Chronicles of Home? Her recent post about switching out recessed lighting was so helpful! She has plenty of DIY projects and home advice on her blog. We have a ton of recessed lighting in our new (to us) house, and our utility bills are not fun. Our plan is to switch out our bathroom lighting and see what we think, then consider changing the rest of the house lighting.
FIVE: It is almost time for most of our husbands’ (and maybe some of ours) favorite holiday: Superbowl Sunday! With the Carolina Panthers in the playoffs, this season is especially exciting! I saw this festive, football-themed table on Pinterest and had to share. Craft paper + electrical tape + adhesive numbers…I may need to replicate this! You can also read this article from Babble with lots of other football inspired party ideas.
Have a great weekend ladies!
